Do your alphabet charts and word wall need a facelift? Mine did and so I created these light, bright and fun Alphabet Posters in colorful polka dots. Easy to see across the room, these alphabet posters, flash cards, word wall letters, beginning sound posters and deskplates stand out.
How much time do you spend in the classroom? For me some days, it can be up to 8 or 9 hours. Why not make the room uplifting? If you are like me, you like to be surrounded by happy things. I have a special tea and cup, some nice, easy ambient playlists (or 70’s funk/disco when I want to jam out while grading!) and a special pillow for my chair. I also have light, bright and fun things to brighten my mood. I designed these posters with that in mind.
First up in the packet are 8.5 x 11 inches individual letter posters. My kiddos like how they can be read across the room.
Each letter comes with 4 Beginning Sound cards to hang below. I also use these cards during Guided Reading with those students who have trouble with their beginning sounds.
If you don’t have room to display the Beginning Sounds cards under each poster, this set has smaller letter cards without pictures that are bulletin board size.
What if you are short on space? Each large letter poster comes in 3.5 x 5 inch size. Put them together like I did here to make one giant poster, perfect for the back of a door!
I also use these smaller cards as flash cards for sorting activities.
These posters are great for a beginner sentence activity. Just provide lined paper and ask students to write each as a sentence…”Bb is for bat. Bb is for belt…”
To match the alphabet posters, there are editable cards that you can program with sight or vocabulary words.
Finally, this packet includes deskplates with space for practicing letters that my kiddos have trouble forming.

I hope you enjoy these light, bright and fun posters in your classroom!
